…is an attraction in and around Riegersburg since spring 2003. Summer and winter alike, the train takes you with a moderate pace of 10km/h to the most beautiful places of our region.
In its three wagons there are seats for about 60 people and therefore it is ideal for lub-, works-, school- and family outings.
Here are a few suggestions for a tour:
Delicacy (“Schmankerl”) – tour
Pleasant journey over Altenmarkt to the Chocolate Manfactory Zotter, chocolate tasting included. Afterwards the tour leads to the Distillery and Vinegar Manufactory Gölles in Stang where a guided tour and a tasting await you. The tour ends at a tavern.
Tavern (“Buschenschank”) – tour
Take the train to one of our various taverns around the castle. Enjoy the culinary specialities and afterwards you are picked up by the train again.

Witch Shop at the foot of the Castle
In our shop you find all farming products typical for our region. Among other things we have the Riegersburger Castle Wine and wines from regional wine-growers, honey products,pumpkin seed oil, herbal teas, soaps from the volcanic land, Zotter chocolates, schnaps and vinegar products and handicrafts like herbal pillows, wooden toys, witches….
Tastings (also for groups) possible at any time, also in connection with a visit of the “Wine-DUFTikum”.
