Get to know the countryside and the people – 19 walking-, hiking- and biking routes invite you to do so! All trails and routes can be found in the “Freizeitkarte Riegersburg”, available at all boarding houses/holiday apartments and shops in Riegersburg. You can also ask for the map at the tourism board.
Whether demanding or easy and relaxed, whether road-, trekking- or mountain biking. In and around Riegersburg there are routes for all tastes.
Away from highly frequented roads you can enjoy the wonderful scenery: either you make an easy tour and have a rest at a tavern (Buschenschank) or you choose a more challenging tour where you aim for up to 1500 metres in altitude.
If you walk and ride around with an open mind, you will enjoy the vineyards, apple alleys and fields. In spring you are accompanied by the wonderful smell of flowers and in early summer and autumn you are surrounded by the smell of hay. Also mountain bikers won’t miss out on anything because there are many tracks and forest roads which are open for bikers.
